The blog is dying while life keeps expanding

I want to start my writing back up again.

Why?

Well, it’s one of the few things I love most. And….

This blog used to have 2000+ unique visitors every month. Unfortunately, that number has been slowly dwindling, evident when you write nothing. I think it’s a fun experiment to see if I can monetize this piece of internet real estate, just as an experiment.

Third, I want to find a subject I love writing about, which I can only rediscover when I write daily.

Why did it take so long for me to return to the blog?

I hated writing for a while.

The fun stopped when I did a too-intense ship30for30 challenge, which gassed out my writing tank. I was fed up and tired.

I have nothing against this challenge; I loved it then, and it felt gratifying. But for me, it was too intense.

Then I became a dad of twins, got a job for the first time, and the rest is history—no more writing.

So, I’m picking up the old writing shovel.

Here I come again.

I’m committing that shovel to write for 10 minutes every day for the next 365 days.

There are some topics I would love to explore:

  • The abundance disease of our age
  • Non-depressing quantified self
  • Managing active parenting while still staying ambitious
  • Building a side business while having a stressful job at the same time

See you on the flip side. Hastalavista.
